Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
